Equipment Operator
Overview
Volk Excavating LLC in Rugby, ND is looking for a motivated heavy equipment operator. This is a full-time, year-round salaried position.
The operator is expected to competently run an excavator, dozer, and skid steer. Primary duties include digging around sewer and water utilities, loading side dumps with the excavator, bulk grading with the dozer, and miscellaneous grading with the skid steer. The individual will be responsible for performing daily maintenance checks, keeping a clean cab, and treating the equipment with respect.
This position also involves helping in the trench laying pipe, spotting while digging, loading and chaining down equipment, and pitching in wherever needed. At Volk Excavating, no job is beneath you—if that doesn’t fit what you’re looking for, we’re probably not the right company for you.

CDL Driver

Volk Excavating LLC in Rugby, ND is looking for a motivated Class A CDL truck driver. This position can be full-time or part-time and is paid hourly.
Job details:
The driver will be responsible for hauling aggregates with side dump and belly dump trailers and moving equipment with a lowboy. Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and be physically capable of chaining down equipment and performing daily equipment inspections. Additional responsibilities include washing trucks and trailers as needed and completing daily maintenance checks.
